Custom-crafted smile transformation

What are Veneers?

Veneers are thin, durable shells made of porcelain or composite resin that are bonded to the front of your teeth to enhance their appearance. They’re a popular solution for people who have chips, cracks, discoloration, gaps, or teeth that are uneven or slightly misaligned. At Brentwood Aesthetic & Family Dentistry, we offer both porcelain and composite veneers, allowing us to customize treatment based on your lifestyle, budget, and goals. Veneers offer a tailored, natural-looking solution that helps patients smile with confidence.

Long-lasting durability

Our veneers are made from premium materials and are built to last resisting chips, stains, and wear with proper care.

Types of Veneers

We offer two types of veneers—porcelain and composite—each with its own benefits depending on your smile goals.

Porcelain veneers are highly durable and stain-resistant, with a translucent quality that mimics natural enamel. These are ideal for patients who want a long-lasting, high-end cosmetic result with minimal maintenance.

Composite veneers are made from tooth-colored resin and can often be placed in a single visit. They’re a more affordable option and can be repaired easily if damaged, making them a great choice for younger patients or those new to cosmetic dentistry.

Prepless veneers are an ultra-conservative cosmetic option made from either porcelain or composite materials that allow us to enhance your smile without removing natural tooth structure. Unlike traditional veneers, they require little to no enamel reduction, making them ideal for patients seeking a minimally invasive transformation. With proper planning and facially guided design, prepless veneers can deliver beautiful, natural-looking results while preserving the integrity of your teeth.

The Veneers Treatment Process

1

Consultation & Smile Goals (1 hr)

Your journey begins with a personalized consultation to discuss your smile goals, treatment options, and what’s achievable based on your current oral health. We’ll talk through the difference between porcelain and composite veneers and determine the best path forward.

2

Smile Design & Records (1 hr)

We take comprehensive records—including digital scans, photos, and impressions—and dive deeper into your aesthetic goals. These assets are used to create a detailed smile blueprint in collaboration with a master ceramist. Mock-ups typically take 2 weeks to return from the lab.

3

Provisional Veneers & Test Drive (4–5 hrs)

Temporary veneers (also known as provisionals) are placed so you can preview your future smile in real life. We may use surgical guides to make minimal enamel adjustments—or use a no-prep approach depending on your case. You’ll “test drive” your new look for 2–3 weeks.

4

Review & Customization (1 hr)

At your follow-up, we’ll assess your temporary veneers, discuss any changes you’d like to make, and communicate refinements directly to the ceramist. This ensures the final veneers are dialed in to match your ideal shape, color, and overall aesthetic.

5

Final Veneer Delivery (2–3 hrs)

Your custom-crafted veneers are placed with precision and care. Each one is bonded, polished, and adjusted for optimal bite, fit, and appearance. You’ll leave with a dramatically elevated smile that looks as natural as it feels.

6

Final Evaluation & Aftercare (1 hr)

About one week later, we’ll bring you in for a final evaluation and professional photos. You’ll receive personalized instructions on maintenance and care—plus your first post-treatment cleaning to ensure everything is as healthy as it is beautiful.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about how to keep your smile healthy for life? Start here.

Veneers are a conservative cosmetic option that require minimal enamel removal. For porcelain veneers, a thin layer of enamel is gently recontoured to allow the veneer to sit flush with your natural tooth. We take a highly measured approach to preserve as much of your healthy tooth structure as possible. Composite veneers typically require little to no enamel reduction.

Porcelain veneers are known for their strength and longevity. They can last 15–20 years or more with good oral hygiene and routine dental visits. Composite veneers have a shorter lifespan (about 8–10 years), but they’re easy to repair and maintain. Avoiding habits like nail biting or chewing ice can help your veneers last even longer.

Veneers are made from materials that don’t respond to teeth whitening products. That’s why we help you choose a shade you love from the beginning—many patients whiten their natural teeth beforehand for a brighter baseline. While veneers are stain-resistant, maintaining good hygiene and avoiding excessive coffee, tea, or red wine can help them stay vibrant.

The cost of veneers can vary depending on the number of veneers you receive, what materials are used, and where they are in the mouth. The national average is about $1500-3000 per tooth. During your consultation, we'll give you a detailed breakdown of what to expect financially.

There’s so many misconceptions about veneers, and I realized the integrity of my teeth were being preserved - they’re just enhanced now. I could invest in so many material things, but my teeth and my smile held so much more value for me. The self-confidence I feel is life-changing.

James W.

Having Dr. Homonnay do my porcelain veneers was truly life-changing for me. For years I walked by the mirror, or looked at pictures, and just didn’t love my smile, so I found myself not smiling as much. Even my children were catching on, and that made me sad. Now I just feel like I want to smile all the time, and it’s so great!

Sarah B.

It’s natural to be nervous about changing anything, but looking back I realize there was absolutely nothing to be nervous about. It’s such an individually crafted process. Dr. Homonnay was really great at listening to everything I wanted, and my composite veneers were completely customized to me.

Abbie D.

To anyone considering veneers with Dr. Homonnay, I’d say just go for it! You won’t regret it. I’ve invested in other things that haven’t brought me nearly as much joy. With Dr. Homonnay - it’s only perfection. He’s going to get every single thing right.

April R.

I’ve always been self-conscious about my smile, and Dr. Homonnay explained how I could improve it without being invasive. With my composite veneers, there’s just something about the confidence of being able to smile big now.

Chris R.

I only wish I would have gotten my veneers done sooner, but when I finally did my experience with Dr. Homonnay was easy and pain-free.

Lori W.

I think one of the most important things in deciding on a provider for cosmetic dentistry is trust, and Dr. Homonnay built that trust. He and his team really took time to personalize my care and give me a smile that I love.

Emily J.

I was thrilled to have completed my custom veneer journey with Dr. Homonnay – he & his team were amazing every step of the way. I cannot recommend Brentwood Aesthetic & Family Dentists highly enough!
